Sekigahara Festival
Sekigahara, a town in Gifu Prefecture, was the site of the decisive battle that marked a turning point in Japanese history. This battle on 21 October 1600 led to the establishment of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Every October the town hosts a recreation of the battle of Sekigahara. The Sekigahara Festival is a great experience that will be enhanced by the opening of the new Memorial Museum.
Sekigahara can be easily accessed by train from Nagoya Station.
