The Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales did a port visit to Tokyo between 28 August and 2 September 2025. I was fortunate to be invited to the arrival ceremony welcoming the ship into Tokyo and also to see it's departure on the next leg of it's round the world journey.

It was an historic event as HMS Prince of Wales was the first foreign warship to berth in Tokyo. While the ship was in port members of the ship's company took part in a number of functions in Tokyo. 

It was a privilege to be able to participate in this special ocassion.
